About my C20

We made the top removable, installed a 350 chevy engine with a 350 turbo trans.  Then we installed a hiedts mustang II front end with a 2 inch drop.  Next we changed out the old diff with a 70 olds cutlass,  frenched in the anttena where the fuel tank used to be and primered it. I hope to paint it soon.

Nice lookin truck!!  I think all of the old Chev/GMC trucks are awsome.  I like the black paint and the idea of a lift off top is cool too.  I would like to see more pictures of the complete truck...  I have a 53 choptop (see sign-in name) that has been an ongoing project since 1985 and a daily driver.  It will never be completed because a true Kustom is never done.  Will give more details when I post my pics.   Keep up the good work and don't ever let anyone discourage  your work.  Its your truck and your vision.  That's what makes this hobby so GREAT!!

I like the way don't follow everyone else and it shows "in a good way". Don't see to many C20's in Classic Trucks, I don't know why either. You got a sick ride.

I'll comment.  I think it's a fine ride!  I like the removable top too, and in the Summer that would be fun and nice.

So are you going to paint it shiney or satin (flat) color?  The reason I ask is my old 49' Chevy is satin black and people really like that and so do I.  Nothing against the shiney jobs it's just different.

Yes, you have a nice pickup and should be proud of it.

I dropped a 327 in mine cause everybody else had a 350.  I just don't like to copy everybody I guess plus the 327's are excellent motors and getting harder and harder to find.

Send some pictures of the interior and the motor if you would, I'd like to see them.

Take care,
Clay-dog
P.S. my truck is in this too, check it out.
