This is the truck I promised I would build my wife for the last 30 years! Unfortunately for her, the pro-street T, 48 Chev coupe, 46 Ford coupe, 39 Chev coupe, 64 Biscayne pro touring, 30 Model A roadster, and a Harley or two managed to get finished first!
This started out as a ten year project for a couple of guys from Seattle, one of which was Edgar Martinez of Seattle Mariners fame. After countless hours and an untold amount of money they finally threw in the towel and offered it to me. Three pickup loads, and two car trailer loads garnered a very well stocked shop at my place. After six months of sorting through, redoing, and modifying it finally went back together. (nothing like trying to figure out someone else’s train of thought on a project like this!)
So after 30 years I wont feel guilty when I find my next project, as my wife Janine finally has that truck I promised to build her 30 years ago. And yes, she has actually hauled furniture in it!! She opted to use our other truck for the gravel though!
