Good luck. I have a 68 c10 longbed fleetside, but its got three on the tree. I wish i could have found it in a manual, i think thats key to improve your mpgs. Let me know what you find. Also, any 68'ers with a long bed have a bed liner? Everything im finding is for shortbeds? anyone?

I've got a 72 LWB with a 700r4 I'm looking to get 20 ar as good as I can get unloaded as this is going to be a daily driver and yet pull a trailer from time to time.I'm working over seas did not get to do much driving so I do not know what its getting now .I'm having a mechanic do the needed repairs from here and any input will be appreciated.

Nice truck to start with,I'm not into MPG so good luck with the 30 MPG,it could be tough with the way these trucks are designed,back in the day they didn't worry about it.
