About my F Series

I found this old 1948 Ford F1 sitting in a field while teaching my daughter how to drive a manual transmission car. After finally tracking down who it belonged to, I struck a deal and picked up the next weekend. After getting it home and washing out the rats and mice and black widows, I noticed the doors had a logo that had been spray painted over. I took some lacquer thinner and polishing compund and proceeded to slowly make the logo visible. Although hard to read, it's an original Flying A Service Station Truck. The logo has the Flying A on top, followed by Super Extra Gasoline, followed by over 100 octane. Needless to say, I was blown away. Talk about a truck with some history! My plans for the truck are to fully update the drive train, and patina it and make it back as the Flying A truck. Hope you like it!
