Here's a picture of my on going project I saved from becoming scrap metal (as I slowly gather the funds together to do her right). From her beginning to the current restoration my 1953 50th anniversary Ford F 100 pick-up comes with four on the floor which I've never seen another like it but they must have made them as I have one, though all others I've come across (2) and several on ebay had the shifters on the column. She's a work in progress and all original except for a few slight changes basically because I'm unsure how to take her to the next level. Drives like a tank, cranky, and sometimes leaves me stranded but I love her anyway and she'll always be in the family. Not a bad beginning I don't think for my first project truck, even if I do have to con friends and mechanics into not pulling their hair out while I direct them to put her together exactly how I see she should be done. All they do is shake their heads and say "frickin' artists".
