About my C1500

I wanted to build a truck that could blow the doors off todays modern muscle and look good doing it.  My truck is a short box with factory air.  The body has been restored in full factory trim and painted Snake Skin Green.  It is powered by a ZZ502 from GMPP, backed by a TH400.  The factory 12 bold housing remains with an Eaton Posi unit and a 3:73 richmond gear set. The stopping power comes from Baer 13 inch 4-wheel disc brakes. For wheels, Foose Nitrous II with Nito 555 rubber. Drag radial 555's out back.  First time out it ran a 13.3 @ 103 mph with a 2.1 60 foot in full street trim. This was done 2500ft above sea level. With a little traction it should dip into the 12s! Not bad for an old green truck.
