This is a story of the one that got away and then after 35 years its back in the family.My name is Greg lane and im 54 and in 1969 my dad brings home a 1932 ford pickup with a flat head 3 duces,stacks up the side of the cab,white walls and a  four speed.Paid  $700.00.Over the next four years the drive train, paint and interior were changed to black dimont tuff,400 turbo and a 327 with 202 heads.In 1974 he sold it to a friend of the family for $1700.00 and he drove it for only one year tore it all apart and never put it back together.In the mean while dad didnt know that for the last few years i was in contact with the buyer and in July 2007 i trade a 1955 Chevy gasser that i was building for the street for the 32 truck and gave it back to my dad for his 75th birthday and it wa also the 32 fords 75th.He could not belive its back in the family as hes is walking around it tiuching it with  tears in his eyes.Over the next two years he drove to my shop witch is one way 35 miles three to five days a week to help woek on it and a few weeks ago we showed it at its firt show with great responce. and on 9/19/2009 we are bringing it to Joliet ILL to the good guy show.
