Maybe not considered a classic, but she is to me. A 1975 C10 with the pro street treatment. The paint is a 1955 color called Gypsy Red, code 596. I aquired her in September 2001 pretty much how is is now, except for the new engine and a few personal touches. Came with a 377 and a N2O plate system and stayed that way until January 2008. I decided to build a 383 and the short block consists of an Eagle 4340 crank, Crower Sportsman rods, Arias blower pistons, Sealed Power rings, ARP studs and rod bolts, and an Isky blower cam. Heads are World Sportsman II's. For the induction, a Weiand 671 blower was the choice. The air and fuel is handled by a BDS EFI 8-nozzle bug catcher and controlled with a FAST ecu. The tranny is a manual/reverse pattern TH400 with a trans brake and 3500 stall. The front end has drop spindles and springs, P255 on 15x8 Convo-Pros, and sits 24 1/2" from the bottom of the wheel opening to the ground. The rear sits 26 3/4" from the bottom of wheel opening to the ground. The frame has been c-notched with a 4-link and coil-overs. The 12 bolt rear-end housing has been narrowed to 44" and filled with Moser axles, 4.56 gears, and a spool. On the ends are Wilwood disc brakes and 31x18.5 Hoosier radials on 15x14 Convo-Pros. No track times. No dyno numbers. Driven daily with limited highway travel, longest trip was 150 miles round trip.
