When I was a kid I spend a lot of time working on old cars and trucks, but my favorite was a 56 F-100 that my cousin brought back from California. So here it is forty years later and I decided I needed another one to work on. The truck I select ran pretty good but the body had been work on a lot more than I thought at first, but you work with you have. I torn it down completely then started back sand blasting and painting. I ended up with a stock truck with a few additions like power steering I robbed out of a 70’s Ford van and alternator that I fabricated the bracket. After working in a high stress job for many years it’s good to work on something and take your time. I am now restoring a 73 Bronco.
