About my Bronco

This a very rare 1966 Ford Bronco true VIN U13 model roadster. Ford only made 4090 in 1966, 698 in 1967, and 212 in 1968 of these unique topless & doorless 4x4 trucks. Ford ended the U13 Roadster form the Bronco line after 1968 production run. There is at best maybe 125 or so left according to Bronco gurus. Most of the Bronco Roadsters lived hard lives and died young and been long forgotten. There are only a 100+ Roadsters on the www.RoadsterU13.com. As you can see most are need of major restoration and the few 10-15 that look close to original are not restored to a Concourse level. My hope and goal was to take this rare topless 4x4 truck to the next level. Spending more then 2000 hr. in the restoration process and more then 1000 hr. in parts hunting and research for a true correct Concourse restoration. Couple with the rarest and the most NOS parts ever assembled on any one first generation 66-77 Bronco. Only the test of time will prove if all of my efforts pays off. Either way it was a blast to do and even more fun to drive!!!!

I love these old Broncos, especially with the tops off.  I have a '72 International Scout II (which is a convertible hardtop, too).  It's a little hard to tell from your photos, but the interior looks great.  Is that a silver vinyl on the seats?  Is it a Zodiac product?  I am restoring my Scout to sort of a hot rod, and plan on using red metal-flake Zodiac vinyl.

Hey Thanks! You should post up pictures of your 76. I like to more early Broncos on this site!

Nice truck! I too have a Bronco - a 76. I very rarely see early bronco's let alone 66 roadsters. Nice restoration.
